Who and what are the traveling teams?
The traveling teams are made up of the Milwaukee Hurling Club's finest hurlers, camogie and youth players.
Currently there are two main classes of traveling team in the MHC, the hurling team and the camogie team. In the near future, we plan to put together a youth traveling team. We currently have a junior B hurling team, a junior C hurling team and a junior camogie team.
The North American finals take place over Labor Day weekend every year, with the 2008 tournament taking place from August 29th through August 31st in Boston.
The opportunity to be part of the traveling teams is open to all and is up to each individual to earn their spot on the team.
