Hoyt Park Grand Hall, 1800 N. Swan Boulevard, Wauwatosa

Like poetry, music, and dance, the ancient sport of hurling and the art of brewing are also a part of Ireland’s vibrant culture – so it seems only natural that the Milwaukee Hurling Club’s 5th Annual beer tasting fest, “Ales, Pales, Sticks & Stouts”, will feature at least two of these – bands and brews!

Come to the historic Hoyt Park Grand Hall and enjoy samplings of more than 50 varieties of ales, lagers, and porters from across the state and around the world, along with hearty helpings of autumnal soups, stews, and more, courtesy of McBob’s Pub & Grill and County Clare. You’ll rock n’ reel to local Celtic rockers Whiskey of the Damned and Atomic Whiskey Test too!

Tickets this year’s edition of the MHC’s annual beer tasting are $30 per person in advance and $35 at the door. (Look for the BUY IT NOW PayPal button at the top right of hurling.net) The MHC is also offering a special Designated Driver ticket for $10.

There’s no tastier way to spend an autumn afternoon and support the area’s most exciting sports organization!  Sláinte!
